PARK MangooProfessor, Seoul National University of Education Dr. PARK Mangoo is a professor at Seoul National University of Education, Korea. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Steffe, a representative constructivist. He served as President of the Korean Society for Mathematics Education and President of the Korean Society for Elementary Mathematics Education. He is currently Director of the Library and Museum, Seoul National University of Education. Now, he is also involved in the development of elementary mathematics textbooks and AI digital textbooks. His research interests include the use of artificial intelligence in mathematics education, mathematics education for social justice, as well as students’ affective aspects and motivation in mathematics education, and interest in mathematics. mpark29@snue.ac.kr |
WANG YanlingProfessor, East China Normal University Dr. WANG Yanling is a professor at the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction at East China Normal University. She received her Ph.D. from East China Normal University and conducted research as a visiting scholar at Peking University in China (2017-2018) and Teachers College, Columbia University in the United States (2011-2012; 2018-2019). She worked at Yunnan Normal University in Southwest China before joining East China Normal University in 2021. Her research interests include pre-service teacher education, teacher education program accreditation, teacher development in rural and disadvantaged areas, as well as China’s teaching research system. She led research on three national-level projects in these fields and participated in the development of National Teacher Education Curriculum Standards. TERASHIMA KosukeProfessor, Osaka Kyoiku University Dr. TERASHIMA Kosuke is a Professor at Osaka Kyoiku University, holding a Ph.D. in Informatics. After completing his graduate studies at Kansai University, he worked at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies and Nagasaki University before joining Osaka Kyoiku University in 2015. He focuses on training in-service teachers at the professional graduate school for teacher education. His research specializes in educational technology, particularly teacher education and media education, with interests in TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) and instructional design of teacher training programs. TONO YukioProfessor, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies Dr. TONO Yukio is a Professor of Corpus Linguistics and Director of the World Language Center at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He earned his BA and MA in TESOL at Tokyo Gakugei University and then moved to the UK for PhD in Corpus Linguistics from Lancaster University. He is currently a professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His research interest lies in the intersection of corpus linguistics, second language acquisition and foreign language teaching. LEE Ju SeongProfessor, Education University of Hong Kong Dr. LEE Ju Seong, Acting Head of Department of English Language Education at the Education University of Hong Kong, specializes in the use of technology in language learning outside the classroom. He has published 50+ peer-reviewed papers, focusing on addressing real-life issues in schools. He is a 2024 PROSE Awards finalist in the Language and Linguistics category for his work on ‘English Language Learning in the Digital Age’ (Wiley-Blackwell, 2023) and has been named as one of the top 2% researchers in Languages and Linguistics in both 2023 and 2024. jslee@eduhk.hk |
